The paper describes a recent effort to design, build, and test a 77 GHz radar to be used for “intelligent” cruise control of automobiles. An analysis of requirements is given, design trade-offs are accounted for, and main features of prototypes in manufacturing are detailed. The radar has been thoroughly tested and evaluated both under “controlled” conditions and on roads, also in dense traffic. Results so far are very promising  相似文献

Evolutionary algorithms (EAs) are useful tools in design optimization. Due to their simplicity, ease of use, and suitability for multi-objective design optimization problems, EAs have been applied to design optimization problems from various areas. In this paper we review the recent progress in design optimization using evolutionary algorithms to solve real-world aerodynamic problems. Examples are given in the design of turbo pump, compressor, and micro-air vehicles. The paper covers the following topics that are deemed important to solve a large optimization problem from a practical viewpoint: (1) hybridized approaches to speed up the convergence rate of EAs; (2) the use of surrogate model to reduce the computational cost stemmed from EAs; (3) reliability based design optimization using EAs; and (4) data mining of Pareto-optimal solutions.  相似文献

A design approach for a Malfunction Detection System (MDS) to beused on board a manned spacecraft is considered. This design is directed toward orbiting laboratory type vehicles, in which man will be subjected to hostile environments for extended periods of time. The prime purpose of the MDS will be to monitor and evaluate critical signals and display out-of-tolerance conditions. This paper initially discusses a mathematical model approach to a monitoring-system design. Another topic covered is the feasibility of using some value less than the specified tolerance as a signal ?test? limit. Finally, various design decisions and trade-offs involved in choosing a monitoring subsystem configuration are discussed, and the conclusion is that the approach is feasible and could be expanded to include other capabilities.  相似文献

在保持原有的设计架构尽可能不变的情况下,运输类飞机可通过增加辅助燃油箱来实现短期内快速增程的目的,以达到大航程、长航时的设计目标,同时后续可作为多类特种飞机的改装平台。由于辅助燃油系统并不直接向发动机供油,而是在巡航阶段将燃油转输至基本型燃油箱内,因此在早期运输类飞机辅助燃油箱系统架构设计阶段,需尽早确定辅助燃油箱到基本型燃油箱的转输参数与转输策略,以便作为输入开展系统架构的权衡与多轮迭代。参考已有运输类飞机设计工程经验,通过对不同权衡方案进行对比分析,给出了在当前某型飞机辅助燃油箱最大设计载油量条件下的燃油转输速率和转输策略,同时考虑了最大载油量变化对分析结果的影响。研究形成的分析思路和方法对其余运输类飞机辅助燃油系统的设计具有一定的参考。  相似文献

将N—S方程流场分析程序和序列二次规划结合起来,提出了一种工程实用的直升机旋翼翼型设计方法,以提高旋翼翼型在悬停、前飞和机动等多个设计点及在多种约束条件下的气动性能。由N—S方程计算得到的升力、阻力等气动参数构成目标函数,应用数值优化程序对其进行最优化。计算实例表明:本方法设计质量高,所需机时少,易于实施,有较大的工程应用价值。  相似文献

研究了隐式AF有限差分理论。指出薄层抛物化控制方程中的右端粘性项是主元素变量矢的一个简单线性函数。给出了任意边界扩压器内紊流流动的数值计算结果,并和实验数据进行了对照。两者吻合得相当好。研究结果对AF有限差分理论以及推广至三维复杂管道内的非定常流动计算具有重要的参考意义。  相似文献

Modern computational and experimental tools for aerodynamics and propulsion applications have matured to a stage where they can provide substantial insight into engineering processes involving fluid flows, and can be fruitfully utilized to help improve the design of practical devices. In particular, rapid and continuous development in aerospace engineering demands that new design concepts be regularly proposed to meet goals for increased performance, robustness and safety while concurrently decreasing cost. To date, the majority of the effort in design optimization of fluid dynamics has relied on gradient-based search algorithms. Global optimization methods can utilize the information collected from various sources and by different tools. These methods offer multi-criterion optimization, handle the existence of multiple design points and trade-offs via insight into the entire design space, can easily perform tasks in parallel, and are often effective in filtering the noise intrinsic to numerical and experimental data. However, a successful application of the global optimization method needs to address issues related to data requirements with an increase in the number of design variables, and methods for predicting the model performance. In this article, we review recent progress made in establishing suitable global optimization techniques employing neural-network- and polynomial-based response surface methodologies. Issues addressed include techniques for construction of the response surface, design of experiment techniques for supplying information in an economical manner, optimization procedures and multi-level techniques, and assessment of relative performance between polynomials and neural networks. Examples drawn from wing aerodynamics, turbulent diffuser flows, gas–gas injectors, and supersonic turbines are employed to help demonstrate the issues involved in an engineering design context. Both the usefulness of the existing knowledge to aid current design practices and the need for future research are identified.  相似文献

Aircraft collaboration design is based on a unified set of schemas containing data and model representations and interfaces across disciplines. The aircraft design schema is a central data model that specifies the paradigm for the representation of a full lifecycle model of aircraft design. The construction of the schema currently lacks theoretical guidance. This paper designs a novel methodology to construct the aircraft design schema, a fully functional, logical, and self-consistent methodology. The methodology defines a schema matrix that includes implementation strategies, principles, processes, meta-object facility, views, scenarios, and products. The aircraft conceptual design schema is constructed according to the methodology, which is a hands-on approach to help understand the concept and implementation. The features of the methodology are analyzed, and the methodology and the aircraft conceptual design schema are presented to address the pain points of multiple solution trade-offs, multiple iterations, and multidisciplinary coupling in aircraft conceptual collaboration design.  相似文献

High-lift systems have a major influence on the sizing, economics, and safety of most transport airplane configurations. The combination of complexity in flow physics, geometry, and system support and actuation has historically led to a lengthy and experiment intensive development process. However, during the recent past engineering design has changed significantly as a result of rapid developments in computational hardware and software. In aerodynamic design, computational methods are slowly superseding empirical methods and design engineers are spending more and more time applying computational tools instead of conducting physical experiments to design and analyze aircraft including their high-lift systems. The purpose of this paper is to review recent developments in aerodynamic design and analysis methods for multi-element high-lift systems on transport airplanes. Attention is also paid to the associated mechanical and cost problems since a multi-element high-lift system must be as simple and economical as possible while meeting the required aerodynamic performance levels.  相似文献

针对气动外形优化设计中,气动特性计算可信度要求与巨大计算量之间的矛盾,采用一种基于神经网络构建适用于气动外形优化设计的气动特性计算模型的计算方法.同时,以神经网络近似模型来代替原有的流场数值计算气动分析程序,结合基于遗传算法建立的气动外形优化搜索方法,建立了一种新的翼型优化设计方法.实际翼型优化设计算例表明该方法有效减少了计算量,提高了工作效率,可以获得具有高可信度的设计结果.  相似文献

 Constructing high approximation accuracy surrogate model with lower computational cost has great engineering significance. In this paper, using co-Kriging method, an efficient multifidelity surrogate model is constructed based on two independent high and low fidelity samples. Co-Kriging method can use a greater quantity of low-fidelity information to enhance the accuracy of a surrogate of the high-fidelity model by modeling the correlation between high and low fidelity model, thus computational cost of building surrogate model can be greatly reduced. A wing-body problem is taken as an example to compare characteristics of co-Kriging multi-fidelity (CKMF) model with traditional Kriging based multi-fidelity (KMF) model. A sampling convergence of the CKMF model and the KMF model is conducted, and an appropriate sampling design is selected through the sampling convergence analysis. The results indicate that CKMF model has higher approximation accuracy with the same high-fidelity samples, and converges at less high-fidelity samples. A wing-body drag reduction optimization design using genetic algorithm is implemented. Satisfying design results are obtained, which validate the feasibility of CKMF model in engineering design.  相似文献

采用快速计算方法进行高超声速气动力计算时,影响计算精度的关键问题主要在于模型面网格的划分和计算方法的选取。采用一种灵活实用的结构化面网格划分策略,使得模型的各个部件能分别选择合适的计算方法;发展一种基于近似流线的二阶激波膨胀波方法,该方法可以用于多种具有三维流场特性的部件,不仅降低对使用者的经验依赖,还能提高计算精度;配合激波位置计算方法,可以较为准确地计算模型的激波位置,保证边界层外缘参数的计算精度;粘性力计算使用基于起始面元修正的Spalding-Chi方法和参考温度方法。通过对四个典型算例的计算与分析,表明本文发展的高超声速气动力计算方法具有较高的计算精度,能够作为高超声速飞行器初步设计阶段的气动力快速分析工具。  相似文献

用有限体积表示的三维雷诺平均N-S方程显式格式的时间推进法, 对一个单转子压气机的三维湍流流场进行了计算。方法中应用了Baldwin-Lomax湍流模型。这个单转子压气机是第39届国际燃气轮机会议作为考核三维流场数值方法的盲题。计算结果与实验实测的结果进行了比较, 证明本文提出的方法可以用来验证叶轮机械气动设计。   相似文献

研究了基于控制理论和NS方程的气动设计方法,针对给定的目标函数表达形式,应用该设计理论在计算坐标下详细推导了相应的共轭方程及边界条件具体表达形式,以及梯度方程求解表达式,通过合理的数学变换,导出了共轭方程在笛卡尔坐标系下的直观表达形式,发展了有效的共轭方程数值求解方法,通过流动控制方程数值求解、共轭方程数值求解、目标函数对设计变量的梯度求解和优化算法等方面的有效结合,研究与发展了一种新的气动设计方法,以二维机翼气动设计为例,成功进行了亚、跨音速情形下的相关设计算例研究,研究结果表明应用控制理论和NS方程的气动设计方法在设计理论、适用性以及时间花费等方面都有着很好的特色和优点,且设计结果也更为可靠.  相似文献

准确地模拟室内气流分布对优化室内通风设计及预测舒适和健康的室内环境有着重要的意义,传统的空内气流分布的数值模拟大都采用к-ε两方程湍流模型,该方法求解出的是流动变量的平均值,无法给出流场结构的详细信息,体现不出湍流流动的瞬时性的特点。本文采用大涡模拟(LES)法求解室内气流分布,使HSMAS法保证计算的稳定性和收敛性。通过对室内等温贴附射流和非等温受限射流两种类型的射流作用下的室内气流分布计算,以及导入к-ε两方程湍流模型对计算结果进行比较与分析表明,大涡模拟求解室内气流分布是一种确定可行和有效的方法。  相似文献
