Bistatic cross sections applicable to scattering from a cloud of randomly positioned and randomly oriented resonant dipoles, or chaff, are found. The chaff cloud can have an arbitrary location relative to an illuminating radar and the radar antenna can have an arbitrarily specified polarization. The receiver can be located arbitrarily in relation to the radar and chaff cloud and can also have arbitrary polarization (different from the transmitter antenna). Average cross sections are found for a preferred receiver polarization and the corresponding orthogonal polarization. Results are reduced to simple, easily applied expressions, and several examples are developed to illustrate the ease with which the general results can be applied in practice.  相似文献

Bistatic radar cross sections are determined for scattering from a cloud of randomly positioned resonant dipoles (chaff). Dipoles are assumed to be horizontally oriented with axes randomly oriented in the horizontal plane. The cloud is arbitrarily located relative to an illuminating source having an arbitrary (elliptical) polarization. Cloud cross section is found for an arbitrarily located receiver that views the cloud with an antenna of arbitrary polarization. To solve the kinetic and diffusion problem of surface-type infrared decoy, multi-chaff kinetic models are established and chaff cloud holistic kinetic performance are analyzed under the impact of high speed airflow in this work. Chaffs rotate rapidly during the motion under the impact of high speed airflow. The rotation speed is correlated with lift, position of pressure center and aerodynamic damping. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is used to compute the aerodynamic coefficients of chaff. It is found that there exists serious aerodynamic interference which mainly relates to the overlapping area and distance among chaffs during the diffusion of chaff cloud. The chaff wind tunnel test and rocket sled experiment are carried out to verify the credibility of the models in this work. Then, the variation of chaff cloud expectation and extremum are analyzed to achieve the holistic kinetic and diffusing performance of chaff cloud. Simulation results demonstrate that the chaffs diffuse rapidly under the impact of high speed airflow and chaff cloud can be formed rapidly within 0.5?s. The shape of the chaff cloud is similar to cone that forms a certain angle with the horizontal plane and most chaffs focus on the second half.  相似文献

计算单根任意长度箔条的双站散射截面积对于确定混装箔条弹散射截面积具有重要意义。通过建立单根任意长度箔条的散射模型,得出了表征箔条表面电流分布的积分方程;利用矩量法对方程进行求解,得出表面电流分布的数值解;在此基础上,利用电基本振子辐射场公式得到了单根任意长度箔条远区辐射电场表达式,最后利用散射截面积计算公式给出了单根箔条双站散射截面积的数值计算式,并对单根箔条的单双站散射截面进行了仿真分析。  相似文献

The radio observations of Venus are reviewed and compared with theoretical microwave spectra computed for a variety of models of the Venusian environment. The models considered are (a) a CO2-N2 atmosphere, (b) an atmosphere of dust (the aeolosphere model), and (c) a cloud model with various loss mechanisms in the cloud. The effect of polarization on the surface emissivity has been included in all the computations. It is shown how the radio observations place limits upon the acceptable models, for example, the density and size of dust particles required in the aeolosphere model. It is shown how some models place severe restrictions on radar observations at short centimeter wavelengths, thereby emphasizing the importance of such experiments. 建立了箔条云对飞机隐身特性的影响分析与计算方法。考虑的对抗情况是突防方用一架飞机播撒箔条偶极子云,作战飞机以该箔条云带为掩护进行突防或调动。通过算例计算了箔条干扰及目标 RCS对飞行器隐身性能的影响。结论是:在每千米突防路径上抛撒6000根数量的箔条就可以极大地提高飞行器的隐身能力,使得 RCS小于100m2 的目标难于被一般雷达探测到。即使雷达对于箔条杂波中可见度有30d B的改善,在箔条干扰下对目标的检测性能仍然不如在杂波和噪声条件下。应当指出,虽然计算结果表明箔条具有很好的干扰效果,但其应用应考虑到战场战术环境、天气条件等外界因素的限制和影响。  相似文献

针对飞行模拟训练需求,基于自然云与电磁波束相互作用的统计特性,设计了 1种自然云雷达图像仿真方案,给出了多个关键仿真模型的实现方法。通过雷达波束的子波束划分实现雷达波束充塞系数的估算,解决了波束充塞系数计算难度大的问题,并根据云的三维模型设计了雷达回波能量计算模型。通过将三维空间的计算转化到二维平面内以获取雷达波束中心与云团交点位置及参数,以此计算雷达反射率和雷达回波的距离衰减。仿真实验表明:该方法能较好地体现云对回波的衰减效应,以及波束充塞度对远距离云回波计算的影响,具有较好的实时性。  相似文献

A foremost characteristic of large dot radar angels is the wide variation of basic parameter values which they exhibit. This variation is traceable to the nature of the underlying phenomena, i.e., birds and flocks of birds. In this paper, statistical distribution models for the mean radar cross section (RCS) and density of radar angels are obtained, based on a combination of radar and direct ornithological data. The radar cross-section distribution model has been derived from a dimensionless RCS versus wavelength model for individual birds, obtained from measured RCS data which have been scaled to a dimensionless form. This model is applied to ornithological data on populations of birds. The density distribution model is based on statistical reduction of migratory bird data obtained by Lowery's moon watching experiment, and observed seasonal and diurnal variations of radar angel activity. Both resulting distribution models are closely appproximated by the log-normal distribution. The model parameters for these distributions are given.  相似文献

Radar observations in the past were used to investigate the astronomical properties of the planet and its reflectivity in radar frequencies. Because of the difficulties in signal detection and processing due to the low level of return signal, the data were published only in the form of Doppler spectrograms. In view of the increasing interest in Mars and the practicability of missions to Mars this paper uses the published data to evaluate the angular behavior of the radar backscattering characteristics of Mars; a required information for the design of radar equipment of spacecrafts. In addition, results of past observations are summarized, analyzed and discussed in terms of a general interpretation of the Martian surface. It is found that the generally accepted suggestion that Mars is a relatively smooth planet, smoother than the Moon, is confirmed by most of the results, but not all observations agree with this hypothesis. A surface model of relief and composition based on radar information in conjunction with other observations is reviewed. The processing methods of radar return signals are compared for a better understanding of the handling of the Doppler spectrogram, a form which is most widely used for the presentation of processed data.An extensive bibliography of available papers and reports relevant to radar observations and the surface and lower atmosphere of Mars is included. The literature is concerned mainly with post-Mariner IV experiment, the mission which changed considerably many conceptions of Mars.  相似文献

性能退化与间歇故障是机载雷达健康状态的重要反映。针对传统机载雷达健康评估方法缺乏整机级的监测指标、未能综合考虑性能退化和间歇故障,传统BIT电路难以监测间歇故障等工程难题,提出了基于通道校准链路,综合运用通道校准仿真技术、正态云、HMM建立起健康状态评估流程。首先,对通道误差与间歇故障进行分析,得到4类校正系数,建立误差与间歇故障注入仿真流程;然后,基于正态云,利用校正系数的样本方差来表征雷达系统的健康状态,提出统一健康模型,并给出HMM拓扑结构与参数设计方法;最后,建立起基于数据驱动的评估流程并开展应用研究。仿真实验验证了误差和间歇故障仿真流程的可行性、健康状态评估方法的有效性,可获得大于95%的评估准确率;应用案例表明所提方法可行,能解决工程上机载雷达健康状态评估的问题。  相似文献

High range-resolution monopulse (HRRM) tracking radar which maintains wide instantaneous bandwidth through both range and angle error sensing channels provides range, azimuth, elevation, and amplitude for each resolved part of the target. The three-dimensional target detail can be used to improve and extend radar performance in several ways: for improved precision of target location, for target classification and recognition, to counter repeater-type ECM, to improve low-angle multipath tracking, to resolve multiple targets, as a miss-distance measurement capability, and for improved tracking in chaff and clutter. These have been demonstrated qualitatively except for the ECCM to repeater ECM and low-altitude tracking improvement. Initial results from an experimental HRRM radar with 3-ns pulse length show resolution of aircraft into its major parts and precise location of each resolved part accurately in range and angle. Realtime closed-loop tracking is performed on aircraft in flight using high-speed sampled, digitized, and processed HRRM range and angle video data. Clutter rejection capability is also demonstrated.  相似文献

HRR Detector for Slow-Moving Targets in Sea Clutter   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The radar detection of targets in the presence of sea clutter has historically relied upon the radial velocity of targets with respect to the radar platform either by exploiting the relative target Dopplers (for targets with sufficient radial velocity) or by discerning the paths targets traverse from scan to scan. For targets with little to no radial velocity component, though, it can become quite difficult to differentiate targets from the surrounding sea clutter. This paper addresses the detection of slow-moving targets in sea clutter using a high resolution radar (HRR) such that the target has perceptible extent in range. Under the assumption of completely random sea clutter spikes based on an epsiv-contaminated mixture model with the signal and clutter powers known, optimal detection performance results from using the likelihood ratio test (LRT). However, for realistic sea clutter, the clutter spikes tend to be a localized phenomenon. Based upon observations from real radar data measurements, a heuristic approach exploiting a salient aspect of the idealized LRT is developed which is shown to perform well when applied to real measured sea clutter.  相似文献

The design and implementation of a multiple model nonlinear filter (MMNLF) for ground target tracking using ground moving target indicator (GMTI) radar measurements is described. Like the well-known interacting multiple model Kalman filter (IMMKF), the MMNLF is based on the theory of hybrid stochastic systems. However, since it models the probability distribution for the target in a region, rather than just the distribution's first and second moments, a nonlinear filter is able to capture more fine-grained detail of the target motion and requires fewer models than typical IMMKF implementations. This is illustrated here with a two-model MMNLF in which one motion model incorporates terrain constraints while the second is a nearly constant velocity (CV) model. Another feature of the MMNLF is that it enables incorporation of prethresholded measurements. To implement the filter, the target state conditional probability density is discretized on a set of moving grids and recursively updated with sensor measurements via Bayes' formula. The conditional density is time updated between sensor measurements using alternating direction implicit (ADI) finite difference methods, generalized for this hybrid application. In simulation testing against low signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) targets, the MMNLF is able to maintain track in situations where single model filters based on either of the component models or filters that use thresholded data fail. Potential applications of this work include detection and tracking of foliage-obscured moving targets.  相似文献

为建立更加准确的航空发动机高压转子的有限元模型,提出一种修正有限元模型描述航空发动机复杂接触的方法.将修正问题转化为求解定义在时域的误差函数的极小值,运用云自适应方法动态调整粒子群算法的惯性权重,使得算法在接近较优解时,惯性因子分布在云低端,有利于收敛得到更优解;当问题解较差时,其惯性因子分布在云顶端,有利于跳出局部极小点,扩大搜索范围.以仿真算例和实际航空发动机高压转子模型为例,通过与相关算法的修正结果比较,证明该算法是可行且有效的.   相似文献

在航空作战体系中,基于航电云的无人机(UAV)蜂群作战是提高未来无人机综合作战能力的一种新模式。针对无人机蜂群作战的航电云架构,如何将云端作战任务派发到无人机且保证作战任务完成时间是其中关键。在无人机蜂群分层分簇网络结构和模块级资源虚拟化的基础上,对传统单层平台级任务调度模型进行改进,提出了一种细化到模块级的多层任务调度模型,将作战任务从云端逐层调度到无人机功能模块上执行。利用OMNeT++对无人机蜂群多层任务调度模型以及传统的单层任务调度模型分别进行仿真,云端以攻击使命组为例构建使命组集进行分配,并对任务吞吐量、消息平均端到端延时和任务完成时间进行性能对比。仿真结果表明:与平台级单层任务调度相比,在执行任务方面,模块级多层任务调度模型将单个任务平均完成时间降低了46.2%,将使命组完成时间降低了52.1%,在保证任务吞吐量的基础上具有对复杂任务更稳定的调度能力;在网络性能方面,模块级多层任务调度模型消息端到端延时更低,延时分布更集中,提高了网络消息传输的实时性。  相似文献

For modern stealth aircraft, it is important to analyze the influence of Radar Cross Section (RCS) peak exposure on penetration for guiding stealth design and penetration trajectory planning, which needs to reflect the RCS statistical uncertainty and the RCS difference with the change of incident angle. Based on the RCS characteristics of typical stealth aircraft, this paper established a simplified RCS dynamic fluctuation statistical model with the parameters log mean and log standard deviation. According to the detection probability algorithm in radar signal processing field, this paper built the algorithm of radar detection probability based on the RCS dynamic fluctuation statistical model. The analysis of examples concluded that the key to successful penetration is to shorten the RCS peak exposure time, which can be reduced by decreasing the RCS peak width or increasing velocity. Based on the conclusion, this paper proposed the method of turning maneuvering to reduce RCS peak exposure time dramatically.  相似文献

Clouds have a large impact on the Earth's radiation budget and hence have the potential to exert strong feedbacks on climate variability and climate change. These feedbacks are not well-understood, so it is essential to investigate observed relationships between cloud properties and other parameters of the climate system. Suitable cloud datasets based on surface observations and satellite observations are described and various advantages and disadvantages of each are discussed. In particular it is noted that significant inhomogeneities likely exist in the datasets which have important implications for studies of climate variability. Recommendations are made for the use of cloud data in future investigations.  相似文献
