A class of current injection based three-phase high power factor rectifiers is proposed. Low distortion of the input currents and high power factor are obtained applying near optimal current injection. The optimal current injection is discussed, and requirements it imposes to the current injection network are derived. A class of simple current injection networks that provide near optimal current injection, consisting of a transformer, two capacitors, and a number of resistors or resistance emulators is proposed. The power processed by the resistors or resistance emulators is shown to be 8.81% of the input power. Design of the current injection network is discussed, and dependence of the input current distortion on capacitance of the applied capacitors is analyzed. Volt-ampere rating of the transformer is shown to be only 0.16% of the input power. Effects caused by the output current ripple are studied, and a method for their compensation is proposed. Analytical results are experimentally verified. Switching resistance emulation is discussed and its feasibility is experimentally demonstrated  相似文献

A new class of AC/DC converter topologies (Type-1 converters) is described, suitable for use in an advanced single-phase sine-wave voltage, high-frequency power distribution system, of the type that was proposed for a 20 kHz Space Station primary electrical power distribution system. The converter comprises a transformer, a resonant network, a current controller, a diode rectifier, and an output filter. The input AC voltage source is converted into a sinusoidal current source using the resonant network. The output of this current source is rectified by the diode rectifier and is controlled by the current controller. The controlled rectified current is then filtered by the output filter to obtain a constant voltage across the load. Three distinct converter topologies, Type-1A, Type-1B, and Type 1-C, are described, and their performance characteristics are presented. All three types have a close-to-unity rated power factor (greater than 0.98), low total harmonic distortion in input current (less than 5%), and high conversion efficiency (greater than 96%)  相似文献

Steady state equations are derived for the superconducting alternator with a thyristor bridge (dc) output. This is accomplished by modification of a previous analysis for a machine with a diode bridge. The approach used avoids the need to numerically solve the differential equations for the system, and it is quite efficient in terms of computation time. Numerical simulations for both the diode and thyristor bridge circuits are included for comparison.  相似文献

永磁直驱风电机组的容量通常达到了兆瓦级,采用并联型结构是主要的扩容方式。传统的风电变流器机侧整流器具有独立的直流母线,虽具有控制简单的优点,但也存在成本高、体积增加等问题。针对这个问题,提出了一种新型的永磁直驱风电机组机侧多整流器共直流母线并联运行控制策略。该控制策略的控制目的是抑制共直流母线的整流器模块之间由于不同步造成的环流,因此首先对具有公共直流母线的多整流器运行的直流环路和零序电流动态进行了建模和分析,设计了独立的电流控制器,并通过同步载波移相配合生成了多簇脉冲调制信号给不同的整流器模块,但相互的控制器使用了同一个转子位置观测器,从而实现了每个模块的电流同步和均衡,并匹配了最优的总发电机转矩。最后,为了验证控制策略的有效性,基于1.5MW的永磁直驱风电机组试验平台进行了试验研究。试验结果表明,在新型控制策略下,变流器机侧多整流器模块能正常运行,并具有较优的性能。  相似文献

A three-phase AC/DC/AC converter is presented with a power factor preregulator to improve the power quality in the input side and a pseudorandom noise generator to reduce the emitted acoustic noise and the mechanical vibration for an induction motor drive. The space vector modulation with hysteresis current control for a voltage source rectifier is adopted to simplify the hardware circuit. A control scheme is presented to drive the supply current following the reference current. The amplitude of reference current for the pulsewidth modulation (PWM) rectifier is derived from the DC bus voltage regulator and the estimated output power. Random switching frequency technique for a three-phase PWM inverter system to reduce the annoying tonal noise and resonant vibration from an induction motor is described. By randomly varying the instantaneous PWM switching frequency from one cycle to the next, the frequency distribution of harmonics is spread in a wide frequency range. The major advantage for using such a strategy is the nonrepetitive output spectral characteristic that results in reduction of torque pulsations in motor drive systems. The nearly unity power factor at the three-phase rectifier and the absence of acoustic noise concentrated at the specific tones which is usually present with conventional sinusoidal modulation are verified by the experimental tests  相似文献

研究了一种适用于多电飞机供电系统的新型混合整流电路,并针对航空机电作动器负载特殊的用电特性,提出了一种基于全状态反馈的混合整流控制方法,在保证整流效果的同时,解决了负载功率短时大范围变化引起的直流电压不稳定问题。这种新型混合整流电路将二极管整流电路和脉宽调制(PWM)整流电路并联输出接负载,两者共同承担有功功率且比例可控,通过适当控制PWM电路达到网侧低谐波的目的,且当负载制动时,能量可以回馈交流侧电网。建立了混合整流器的线性化全状态数学模型,设计了基于线性二次型(LQR)最优化理论的全状态反馈控制策略。通过在MATLAB/Simulink下的建模与仿真,比较了全状态反馈控制方法与传统三状态反馈控制方法,并在机电作动器样机上进行了实验验证。仿真和实验结果表明,采用全状态反馈控制的新型混合整流方案对于功率大范围变化负载具有更好的控制性能。  相似文献

Three pulse-width modulation (PWM) control schemes for a single-phase power-factor-correction (PFC) AC/DC converter are presented to improve the power quality. A diode bridge with two power switches is employed as a PFC circuit to achieve a high power factor and low line current harmonic distortion. The control schemes are based on look-up tables with hysteresis current controller (HCC) to generate two-level or three-level PWM on the DC side of diode rectifier. Based on the proposed three control schemes, the line current is driven to follow the sinusoidal current command which is in phase with the supply voltage, and two capacitor voltages on the DC bus are controlled to be balanced. The simulation and experimental results of a 1 kW converter with load as well as line voltage variation and shown to verify the proposed control schemes. It is shown that unity PFC is achieved using a simple control circuit and the measured line current harmonics satisfy the IEC 1000-3-2 requirements  相似文献

Equations are derived to predict the electrical behavior of a three-phase superconducting alternator connected to a full-wave bridge rectifier. This is accomplished by expanding a previous analysis for conventional rectified alternators and adding computational impovements. The significance of the work is that it provides a means of calculating certain critical variables such as the ac current in the superconducting field winding and the ac voltage harmonics at the rectified output. A numerical example based on a machine designed for airborne applications is included.  相似文献

The transcalent rectifier can dissipate power losses while rectifying 250 amperes; it rectified 60-Hz alternating current at conduction angles of 180°, 120°, and 60°, and at frequencies varying from 200 to 2600 Hz at a conduction angle of 180°. It was surge-current tested to a peak of 6500 amperes, life tested for 4108 hours, and cycle-life tested for 10 867 cycles while rectifying 250 amperes of current. The transcalent rectifier dissipates heat more effectively and at lower junction temperature than conventional rectifiers as heat is transferred isothermally by vaporization of liquid in the heat pipe. Operational characteristics are: a thermal impedance of 0.030 C/W between junction and fins; a thermal impedance of 0.21 C/W between fins and ambient; a junction operating at 1300C; size less than 14 cubic inches; and weight less than 10 ounces.  相似文献

电力电子整流电路是测控雷达伺服系统的重要组成部分。某型测控雷达采用了三相零式反并联可逆整流电路结构。分析了整流电路可逆运行的工作原理以及晶闸管触发电路的控制方式,利用MATLAB/Simulink的建模功能,建立了触发脉冲产生电路和整流电路的模型,仿真得出系统可逆运行时电机的工作状态以及整流电路输出电压波形。仿真结果显示,此整流电路可以实现电机的四象限运行,所建模型正确。利用该模型可以对测控雷达伺服系统的分析和设计起到很好的辅助作用。  相似文献

A high power factor rectifier based on neutral point clamped scheme is proposed. The voltage stress of each power semiconductor of the adopted rectifier is equal to the half dc bus voltage instead of full dc link voltage in the conventional switching mode rectifier. The control signals of the power switches are derived from the dc link voltage balance compensator, line current controller, and dc link voltage regulator. The hysteresis current control scheme is employed to draw a clean sinusoidal line current, high input power factor, regulated dc link voltage, and balance capacitor voltages. Three voltage levels are generated on the ac terminal of the adopted rectifier. To verify the proposed operation scheme, performance characteristics are given by the experimental results.  相似文献

The mathematical modeling of a brushless DC generator is described, as an illustration of the application of diakoptic techniques to the analysis of small-scale electrical power supply systems. Modeling of the generator and its output rectifier is accomplished using an established matrix technique that accounts for the continuously changing conduction pattern of the diode bridge network. The advantages of using diakoptics are discussed together with the main generator linked to its exciter and to the automatic voltage regulator and permanent magnet generator which are often included in a complete unit. A solution algorithm is presented for this overall arrangement and a comparison is made between theoretical and practical results for a typical 3-stage, 4000-rev/min, 10.3-kW, 28-V unit  相似文献

与传统中频电源相比,模块化中频静变电源具有选用灵活、可靠性高、冗余性好、便于系统维护等优点。中频静变电源整流器在控制母线电压稳定的同时还要实现单位功率因数控制。为此,具体分析了双电流环控制策略,给出了双电流环控制器中电压电流正负序分离原理和双dq锁相环的具体实现方法,即延时信号抵消(DSC)和双闭环准比例谐振(PR)。针对逆变器输出电压基波无差跟踪困难、谐波含量高等问题,采用双闭环多重准PR控制策略,实现中频电压的稳定输出。仿真和试验结果表明,双电流环控制器能同时实现母线电压稳定和单位功率因数控制,采用双闭环多重准PR控制策略的中频逆变器能够输出稳定的中频交流电压。  相似文献

Three control techniques for a high power factor multilevel pulsewidth modulation (PWM) rectifier are proposed. The proposed rectifier is based on series connection of full-bridge cell to achieve a high power factor, low current distortion, low voltage stress of power semiconductors and two balanced output voltages. The look-up table is used in the proposed control schemes to reduce the hardware circuit. A capacitor voltage compensator is used to balance two dc capacitor voltages in order to obtain high quality PWM voltage pattern. Based on the proposed control schemes, two-level or three-level PWM pattern can be generated on the ac side of the adopted rectifier. The proposed techniques for a high power factor multilevel rectifier illustrate its validity and effectiveness through the respective simulations and experiments. The problem of maximizing the output torque of a step motor while satisfying power dissipation constraints is considered. Also, the optimal current which maximizes the output torque is derived. Several suboptimal controls are compared to the optimal one and their relative efficiency is evaluated. The distributed power systems of future commercial aircraft will adopt variable frequency generation (360 to 800 Hz). Front-end converters in the system will be required to have a high efficiency and a low total harmonic distortion (THD) of the input current. This paper explains the design of a zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) active-clamped isolated low-harmonic SEPIC rectifier for such applications. Utilization of the transformer leakage inductance for ZVS and a single-layer transformer design contribute to a high efficiency. An accurate averaged switch model has been developed, which shows that the control-to-input-current transfer function of this converter does not exhibit resonances observed in the conventional SEPIC. As a result, for closed-loop operation using average current control, damping of the coupling capacitor is not required. Operating at a switching frequency of 200 kHz, an experimental 100 W, 28 V output rectifier achieves a THD of 3-4% and efficiency exceeding 90% over the entire line frequency range.  相似文献

A generalized model is described for a brushless DC machine consisting of a multiphase synchronous machine with a full-wave bridge rectifier connected to its output terminals. The state-variable equations for the machine are suitable for numerical integration on a digital computer, and are assembled in a form which permits investigations to be made on the effects of different numbers of armature phase windings and different winding connections. The model has been used in both steady-state and transient studies on a number of generating units, with the detailed information which is provided being beneficial to design engineers. Comparisons presented between predicted and measured results illustrate the validity of the model and the mathematical techniques adopted, and confirm that accurate information on the performance of a brushless generator may be obtained prior to manufacture  相似文献

The Fourier theory of jumps (FTJ) is demonstrated as an aid in deriving closed-form analytical equations for converter switching harmonics. The switching waveforms analyzed are the input current and output voltage and current of a three-phase, ac-dc, step-down, dead-band pulsewidth modulated (PWM), unity power factor converter. The input current closed-form harmonic equation is derived for two parallel-connected, interleaved-PWM converters supplying the same load and sharing a common input filter.
