Multiscale topology optimization using feature-driven method

This paper presents a multiscale design method for simultaneous topology optimization of both macrostructures and microstructures. Geometric features are extended as design primitives at both macro and micro scales and represented by Level Set Functions (LSFs). Parameters related to the locations, sizes, and orientations of macro and micro features are considered as design variables and optimized simultaneously. In the overlapping areas of different macro features, embedded microstructures are optimally figured out as the solution of the corresponding sub-optimization problem. In this study, the eXtended Finite Element Method (XFEM) is implemented for structural and sensitivity analyses with respect to design variables. This method has the advantage of using a fixed grid independent of the topology optimization process. The homogenization procedure is applied to calculate the effective properties of considered microstructures in each macro feature. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Results depict that the multiscale design cannot obviously improve structural stiffness compared with a solid-material design under the linear elastic condition.

The effect of small vibrations on Marangoni convection and the free surface of a liquid bridge

The effects of small vibrations on Marangoni convection were investigated experimentally using a liquid bridge of 5 cSt silicone oil with a disk diameter of 7.0 mm, and an aspect ratio close to 0.5. Experiments were performed to determine the critical temperature difference data for no vibration case and with small vibrations applied. The experimental results have shown that the effect of small vibrations on the onset of oscillatory flow is small since the critical temperature difference data for different aspect ratios were not affected by the vibrations. To clarify the surface oscillation phenomena induced by external vibrations, a 3-D numerical simulation model was also developed using a level set algorithm to predict the surface oscillations of isothermal silicone oil bridges. By subjecting the liquid bridge to small vibrations, the surface oscillation characteristics were predicted numerically, and the numerical results compared well with the predictions of an analytical model proposed previously. Furthermore, the effect of small vibrations on the surface vibration amplitude of the liquid bridge is also discussed.

重点调查及研究高职一年级学生的英语学习策略，并将其记入量表。调查被试者的全国实用英语A级考试成绩，通过SPSS统计分析软件处理，进行学习策略与成绩之间的相关分析。结果显示，学生普遍运用补偿学习策略，记忆学习策略运用得最差。迁移的作用、良好的意义识记能力、悟性及敏感性的提高及言语的感知能力、言语的理解能力可以提高考试成绩，卡片式记忆反而会降低考试成绩。

管理者收购作为杠杆收购的一种形式，已成为经济领域的一个热点问题。通过分析管理者收购的具体含义以及管理者收购在我国实施的情况，得出管理者收购在我国是可行的，并对我国企业改革具有借鉴意义，同时指出在中国目前的市场环境下实施所面临的一些问题。     

基于高频导纳原理的液位传感器

介绍一种新型液位传感器。分析传统电容液位传感器在实用中的局限性,提出一种防挂料原理,变传统的单纯测量探头电容变化为测量在液位变化下探头的复阻抗的变化,并利用同步整流技术,抵消导电介质挂料造成的虚假信号。设计上,通过合理选取有关参数,避免了信号变换器和探头分置时分布电容的影响,使传感器可以用在高温介质测量场合。     

Present-Day Sea Level Change: Observations and Causes

We investigate climate-related processes causing variations of the global mean sea level on interannual to decadal time scale. We focus on thermal expansion of the oceans and continental water mass balance. We show that during the 1990s where global mean sea level change has been measured by Topex/Poseidon satellite altimetry, thermal expansion is the dominant contribution to the observed 2.5 mm/yr sea level rise. For the past decades, exchange of water between continental reservoirs and oceans had a small, but not totally negligible contribution (about 0.2 mm/yr) to sea level rise. For the last four decades, thermal contribution is estimated to about 0.5 mm/yr, with a possible accelerated rate of thermosteric rise during the 1990s. Topex/Poseidon shows an increase in mean sea level of 2.5 mm/yr over the last decade, a value about two times larger than reported by historical tide gauges. This would suggest that there has been significant acceleration of sea level rise in the recent past, possibly related to ocean warming. 本文介绍了超黄蜂直升机换装国产桨叶的动力学分析,给出了超黄蜂直升机装原型机桨叶和换装国产直8A 型机桨叶的飞行振动水平的实测结果,对超黄蜂直升机换装国产桨叶前、后的振动水平进行了对比分析;对照 ADS-27的要求,计算了振动影响指数、1次/转的振动水平和仪表板的振动水平,并进行了超黄蜂直升机换装国产桨叶前、后振动水平的 ADS-27符合性对比分析;本文还介绍了超黄蜂直升机装原型机桨叶和换装国产直8A 型机桨叶的“地面共振”计算结果,进行了“地面共振”对比分析。通过振动水平对比测量、分析和“地面共振”对比计算分析,对超黄蜂直升机换装国产直8A 型机主、尾桨叶的方案是否可行,得出了明确的动力学分析结论,为保证超黄蜂直升机换装国产桨叶的飞行安全提供了依据。
