| Abstract: | The carbon nanotubes are considered as the ideal reinforcement for manufacturing composites with their super-strong mechanical properties and excellent physical and chemical properties. The characteristics of structure and properties of carbon nanotubes are introduced in this paper. The application and study of carbon nanotubes in metal matrix composite, polymer matrix composite and ceramic matrix composite are summarized, and the developing trend of carbon nanotubes reinforced composites is prospected. |
