| Abstract: | The technology of variable polarity plasma are applied to aluminum alloy welding is introduced in this paper. The welding technology and parameters and their influence on weld appearance and quality were studied. The results show that VPPA is characterized by fine appearance, little peaking distortion, gnd quality and high efficiency. This welding process can fulfill the requirement of aluminum alloy welding. |
