| Abstract: | It is well-known that the most important thing for translation is that the version should be faithful to the original. If the CP is involved in it, the translator should observe the Maxim of Quality: try to make his contribution one that is true and do not say what he believes to be false and do not say that for which he lacks adequate evidence. Inthis paper,the author selects two groups of lines in Thunderstorm that are observing and flouting the Quality Maxim respectively and analyzes whether or not the translations are the same to the original in the aspect of the Quality Maxim. |
