| Abstract: | In light of the characteristics of the retarders applied in aircraft engines and power-driven systems,this paper holds that the conventional planetary gear retarder design is the optimum subject for a curriculum project in machine design.It also concisely analyzes the calculation and structural features of this kind of retarder,and gives a subject for a curriculum project with some original data. |
