Observations in the solar wind have revealed important insights into how energetic particles are accelerated in astrophysical plasmas. In circumstances where stochastic acceleration is expected, a suprathermal tail on the distribution function is formed with a common spectral shape: the spectrum is a power law in particle speed with a spectral index of −5. Recent theories for this phenomenon, in which thermodynamic constraints are applied to explain the common spectral shape, are reviewed. As an example of potential extensions of this theoretical work, consideration is given to the acceleration of Anomalous Cosmic Rays in the heliosheath.  相似文献

Observations of transient and steady velocities at chromospheric, transition region and coronal temperatures in the quiet Sun and coronal holes are reviewed. The relevance of fine-scale structures in governing the mass balance of the solar atmosphere is stressed. At present, a coherent picture of these mass flows does not exist. However, the current observational base of transition region and coronal velocity information is limited but should greatly improve with measurements from the SOHO satellite.  相似文献

近年来,与高速飞行器相关的(高)超声速流动受到了极大的关注。这类流动所具有的非定常性、强梯度和可压缩性对试验方法和风洞设计技术提出了挑战。超声速纳米示踪平面激光散射(NPLS)技术是由作者所在团队研发的非接触光学测试技术。它能够以较高的空间分辨率来揭示超声速三维流场的一个瞬态剖面的时间解析的流动结构。介绍了NPLS技术以及基于NPLS开发的密度场测量、雷诺应力测量和气动光学波前测量等方法,并回顾了这些技术在超声速边界层、超声速混合层、超声速压缩拐角、激波/边界层相互作用和光学头罩绕流等流动中的应用,清晰地再现了边界层、混合层、激波等典型流场结构及其时空演化特性。另外,为了模拟和研究高空大气条件下边界层自然转捩和超声速混合层的转捩特性,介绍了高超声速静风洞、超-超混合层风洞的设计技术以及层流化喷管的设计方法。  相似文献

Over the last two decades the uninterrupted, high resolution observations of the Sun, from the excellent range of telescopes aboard many spacecraft complemented with observations from sophisticated ground-based telescopes have opened up a new world producing significantly more complete information on the physical conditions of the solar atmosphere than before. The interface between the lower solar atmosphere where energy is generated by subsurface convection and the corona comprises the chromosphere, which is dominated by jet-like, dynamic structures, called mottles when found in quiet regions, fibrils when found in active regions and spicules when observed at the solar limb. Recently, space observations with Hinode have led to the suggestion that there should exist two different types of spicules called Type?I and Type?II which have different properties. Ground-based observations in the Ca?ii H and K filtergrams reveal the existence of long, thin emission features called straws in observations close to the limb, and a class of short-lived events called rapid blue-shifted excursions characterized by large Doppler shifts that appear only in the blue wing of the Ca?ii infrared line. It has been suggested that the key to understanding how the solar plasma is accelerated and heated may well be found in the studies of these jet-like, dynamic events. However, while these structures are observed and studied for more than 130 years in the visible, but also in the UV and EUV emission lines and continua, there are still many questions to be answered. Thus, despite their importance and a multitude of observations performed and theoretical models proposed, questions regarding their origin, how they are formed, their physical parameters, their association with the underlying photospheric magnetic field, how they appear in the different spectral lines, and the interrelationship between structures observed in quiet and active regions on the disk and at the limb, as well as their role in global processes has not yet received definitive answers. In addition, how they affect the coronal heating and solar wind need to be further explored. In this review we present observations and physical properties of small-scale jet-like chromospheric events observed in active and quiet regions, on the disk and at the limb and discuss their interrelationship.  相似文献

During the last five years, statistical studies using plasma measurements made by the AMPTE/IRM satellite have lead to a better understanding of the structure and dynamics of the near-Earth plasma sheet between about 10 and 20R E. The most notable new findings are: (1) the adiabatic non-isentropic behavior of the tail plasma during quiet times; (2) the strong non-adiabatic heating of ions and electrons during substorms and the strong coupling of the ion and electron temperature withT i/Ti7; and (3) the high-speed flow bursts which carry most of the tail plasma transport. Moreover, it became clear that it is the central plasma sheet, and not the plasma sheet boundary layer, which is most affected by substorm activity.  相似文献

为了研究平流层飞艇尾部动量边界层厚度与尾涡结构,应用LES(大涡模拟)方法计算了零攻角工况下飞艇绕流场,并对LOTTE和M-LOTTE两种飞艇进行了对比分析.采用Q分布和涡量描述回转体尾涡结构,根据Q分布可以确定M-LOTTE飞艇较LOTTE飞艇尾部分离区显著减小;并分析了回转体的轴对称曲面动量边界层厚度对飞艇气动阻力的影响,随着飞艇尾部厚度逐渐减小,动量边界层厚度逐渐增大,M-LOTTE飞艇尾部动量边界层厚度明显小于LOTTE飞艇.飞艇尾部动量边界层厚度分布说明了M-LOTTE飞艇的总阻力系数较LOTTE飞艇降低17.2%的原因,同时也表明飞艇尾部形状对飞艇气动阻力影响较大.   相似文献

 声爆精确预测及低声爆设计方法已成为新一代军民用超声速飞机研制过程中必须解决的关键难题之一。基于计算流体力学(CFD)、波形参数法以及MARK-VII方法构建了高精度声爆预测方法,利用该方法对低声爆静音锥的设计展开研究。研究结果表明,静音锥的设计存在临界长度,静音锥长度小于临界长度时,静音锥产生的激波在传播过程中与机头弓形激波合并,静音锥无法起到降低声爆的作用;静音锥长度大于临界长度时,声爆水平也会略有上升。静音锥临界长度随飞行高度和飞行马赫数的变化而变化,可以根据实际飞行状态采用可伸缩设计,达到最佳的低声爆效果。多级静音锥利用多道弱激波取代机头强弓形激波,其声爆水平较单级静音锥也更低,同样,多级静音锥每一级的长度也要达到临界长度。不同静音锥头部形状产生的脱体激波形状不同,脱体距离也不同,导致阻力系数以及静音锥壁面温度有所不同,但静音锥头部形状对远场声爆信号的影响并不明显。采用静音锥的低声爆方案与原始方案比较,声爆水平得到大幅降低,阻力系数略有上升。  相似文献

The observational characteristics of the small scale magnetic structures are summarized. The temperature structure and temporal variability of the emission from coronal bright points, that pervade the source region of the solar wind in coronal holes and the quiet sun, and from active regions are shown to be remarkably similar. Particular emphasis is given to observations, potentially feasible with SOHO, that could resolve some of the outstanding issues regarding the role of the small scale magnetic structures in the energy balance and properties of the solar wind.  相似文献

The analysis of data taken by SUMER near disk center, where a small coronal hole is observed in EIT images, is performed. From the measurements of Doppler non-thermal velocities and intensities, we search for the diagnostics and the signature of small scale structures in the coronal hole using transition region lines. Transition region lines in the range of 7 × 104 K to 2.5 × 105 K have a non-thermal velocity excess of 4.0 to 5.5 km s-1 relative to the contiguous quiet Sun. While the average intensity is lower in the coronal hole than in the quiet area, this result shows an increase of turbulence at the base of the high speed solar wind. 利用在线式PIV系统(ParticleImageVelocimetry),在低速风洞中对NACA0012翼型在雷诺数2.39×105,0°和4°攻角下的近尾迹流动进行了实验研究。实验结果表明,在较高的雷诺数下翼型近尾迹流动是一种以旋涡的运动学和动力学特性为主导的湍流剪切流。在测量范围内,翼型的尾缘处是近尾迹涡街的形成区;尾缘后0.5倍弦长的区域存在类似于卡门涡街的有序结构,是旋涡发展区域,旋涡具有较好的稳定性;距翼型尾缘0.5倍弦长至1倍弦长的区域,是翼型近尾迹流动由有序走向无序区域,旋涡开始破裂。翼型表面边界层对翼型近尾迹湍流剪切流的演化有重要影响。实验结果还给出了近尾迹流动的平均速度、湍流强度和剪切应变变化率,以及速度脉动量的二阶关联量u'u',u'v'和v'v' 的分布。   相似文献

Dynamical simulations have been developed at IASB-BIRA to model the deformations of the plasmasphere during geomagnetic substorms and other variations in the level of geomagnetic activity. The simulations are based on the mechanism of plasma instability and use the empirical Kp-dependent electric field E5D. The results of the simulations are compared with IMAGE observations that provide the first global comprehensive images of the Earth’s plasmasphere. The predicted plasmapause positions correspond generally rather satisfactorily with the EUV observations. The plasmasphere is rather extended in all MLT sectors during quiet periods. During or just after geomagnetic substorms, the plasmaspause is sharper and becomes closer to the Earth in the night sector. Periods of enhanced geomagnetic activity are associated to the formation of plumes that rotate with the plasmasphere. The simulations reproduce the formation and the motion of these plumes, as well as the development of other structures like shoulders observed at the plasmapause by EUV on IMAGE.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the analysis of high-temperature effect on a conical waverider and it is a typical configuration of near space vehicles. Two different gas models are used in the numerical simulations, namely the thermochemical non-equilibrium and perfect gas models. The non-equilibrium flow simulations are conducted with the usage of the parallel non-equilibrium program developed by the authors while the perfect gas flow simulations are carried out with the commercial software Fluent. The non-equilibrium code is validated with experimental results and grid sensitivity analysis is performed as well. Then, numerical simulations of the flow around the conical waverider with the two gas models are conducted. In the results, differences in the flow structures as well as aerodynamic performances of the conical waverider are compared. It is found that the thermochemical non-equilibrium effect is significant mainly near the windward boundary layer at the tail of the waverider, and the non-equilibrium influence makes the pressure center move forward to about 0.57% of the whole craft’s length at the altitude of 60 km.  相似文献

为了分析不同尾翼对作用在弹头上的空气动力的差异,分析弹头的机动能力,利用理论分析、实验数据和仿真计算,进行了弹头尾翼十字型和叉型布局的气动特性研究。通过建立弹头气动参数模型、分析空气动力试验数据,及对静稳定裕度、舵面控制效率及气动耦合的讨论和仿真,得到了二者气动差异的相关结论。  相似文献
