Abstract:Green development and low-carbon transformation of light industry can not only accelerate the process of energy conservation and emission reduction in chinese industry,but also improve chinese ability to cope with climate change.Moreover,it can force the low-carbon transformation of the consumption mode of chinese residents.In this paper,decoupling theory is used to analyze the decoupling status of the carbon emission of light industry and the economic growth.Furthermore,LMDI model decomposition is carried out on the influencing factors of carbon emission in 16 subsectors of light industry.The research results show that:①The total industrial value of chinese light industry and carbon emission is mainly in a weak decoupling status,but there is still a certain gap between its strong decoupling state with low carbon.②Except the industry of chemical fiber manufacturing,which is mainly in the non-decoupling state,the decoupling times of other industries are all over 70%.③From 2008 to 2016,the total effect of light industry presents the characteristics of positive and negative effects alternately year by year,among which the factors of employment scale,output value per capita and energy intensity play a role in promoting the growth of carbon emission of light industry.④Farm and sideline food processing industry,textile industry,paper industry and several other industries are prominently affected by the five influencing factors.Both positive and negative effects are relatively obvious with a large contribution rate.
