| 摘 要： | 斯蒂芬.克莱恩的小说《街头女郎梅季》被认为是美国自然主义小说的代表。小说中一个叫梅季的女孩在纽约贫民窟的大环境下沦落、死亡,揭示社会现实的不稳定性与主体心理浮躁之间的必然联系。小说中的自然主义元素主要反映在两个方面:贫民窟环境和贫民窟中人们的道德价值观。

| Abstract: | Thomas A.Gullason's Maggie,A Girl of the Streets is considered the representative of the naturalism novel of the United States.The fall and death of a girl named Maggie in the slum of New York City reveal the necessary connection between the instability of the social reality and the psychological flippancy of people.Factors of naturalism in the novel are mainly manifested in two aspects: slum environment and ethic value of people in slum. |
