“逆向教学法”在精读课上的尝试

摘    要:在大学英语精读课的教学过程中,利用传统的教学方法,即从解释单入词手,再到词组—句子—段落—篇章,进行教学,显然无法圆满地解释语言的社会功能.旨在探讨打破传统的教学方法,尝试一种新的“逆向教学法”,即从语篇分析入手,再解释段落—句子—词组—单词.这种方法可使学生加深对语言现象理的解,有利于培养学生独立解决问题的能力.

Abstract:In teaching the intensive reading texts in College English the traditional appoach is to explain the words first and then the expressions, sentences, paragraphs and finally the wholetext. In practice, this approach fails to completely explain the social function of the English lan-guage.This paper is intended to discuss how to break free from this method by using the reverse-order approach, i.e., analyzing discours efirst,then successively explaning paragraphs, sen-tences, words and expressions. This approach has proved to be effective in making the students better understand and practice the language learned and in better cultivating thestudents' ability to solve problems on their own.
