Abstract:Electromagnetic scattering scale-measurement to lossy targets is an unavoidable step in the development of stealthy and anti-stealthy technology. Drawing on the experience of the principle of similitude in hydrodynamics, the formula of similitude-criterion concerning the surface impedance of target is proposed in this paper. By means of this simple formula, the RCS of prototype can be deduced by the measured values of two modelling targets coated with different kind of absorbent materials.
