| Abstract: | An experimental study is performed on 3 D boundary layer transition phenomena. Four different methods infrared images, surface hot film gages, oil flow and fluorescent microtuft are compared using the same model of a yawed wing for the same wind tunnel conditions. The experiments are carried out in a low speed wind tunnel. Through the analysis of experimental results, a practicable method to locate the 3 D boundary layer transition is developed. |
