The method to find the defect design of the missile structure by interpreting its modal testing result

Much information about structure can be acquired from the modal testing result of the structure, by which the structure can be improved. In this paper, it is explained that the defect design in the missile's interior structure is found from the its no regular modal testing result, that prove the importance of interpreting the modal testing result for structure. The detailed derivation about the mode of a main structure with a branch mass is given, and the reason from which the missile has the no popular modal testing result is also interpreted in this paper. The method to interpret the modal testing result of the missile can be applied for any other structure than the missile.
