Abstract:INS (Inertial Navigation System) has to be aligned properly before the aircraft or warship turn into navigation state. Because of the actual application environment disturbing effect, the vehicle maybe sway randomly when the INS is aligning. So the INS alignment process is going to be badly disturbed. In order to improve the INS alignment precision, the technical scheme of INS alignment on moving base should be studied seriously. The real system test validation is an important process for technology research and product inspection. For effective evaluation the precision of INS alignment on dynamic base, a linear displacement test method and a 6-DOF Stewart platform test method were presented in this paper. The heading direction error and horizontal line error of INS alignment on moving base were evaluated effectively by means of these methods.
