| Abstract: | For the Chakravarthy Osher TVD scheme,we put forward a new method of avoiding the occurrence of the singular point near sonic region.By means of the present method,we no longer have to redefine the positive and negative eigenvalues at the soic point,and at the same time the high accuracy of the Chakravarthy Osher TVD scheme still remains.The calculations of two shock tubes show that the method is effective.In addition,we also make use of this method to calculate the subsonic flow past a circular cylinder,and obtain satisfactory results. |
