| Abstract: | In the paper the crossflow instability of an infinite swept flat plate is investigated.It is found that the traveling waves and stationary waves are amplified simultaneously and the traveling waves are more unstable,the existing suggestions for the growing direction of the disturbances in three dimensional boundary layer flows are basically in agreement with each other. |
