| Abstract: | This paper puts forward an algorithm MSDP for disjointing coherent structure functions in the reliability analysis. The algorithm is based on the # sharp operation, and extracts minimal sum of disjoint products from the minimal path set. Several methods for selecting the member of result is given to balance the computing cost against the optimization. MSDP has a simple structure, and is easy to be realized on computer. It can also be used for disjointing non-coherent structure functions. |
