| Abstract: | The calculation formulas are given to determine the stress concentration at the edge of a hole in a finite plate on the basis of generalized variational principles.Also presented are several numerical examples and the calculation of a rectangular plate which was under the cases of unidirectional and uniform tension load and of shear load.The calculated results are shown in curves. |
