Abstract: | Titan's atmosphere contains a mixture of nitrogen, methane, argon, hydrogen, simple hydrocarbons and nitriles, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide. Sources of nitrogen may be as a product of the photodissociation of ammonia or trapped in the ices that formed the satellite. Reasons for the abundance of deuterium are examined and its association with nitrogen on Titan is explained. |
