| Abstract: | In this paper the concept of synthetic regional satellite constellation is defined, then the principles in satellite network design for regional earth observation is studied in earnest. Also a general method about the number of planets and orbital satellites in regional constellation is proposed as well. Finally the index system and evaluation model of performance analysis for satellite constellation is established. |
