高性能聚乙烯防弹头盔成型工艺技术

摘    要:文章介绍了高性能聚乙烯防弹头盔的成型工艺技术。高性能聚乙烯具有低密度,高的比强度、比模量和韧性的特点,因而具有很好的防弹性能。但成型时成型工装、成型压力以及温控要求比较严格,通过控制工艺过程,可以在不降低性能的前提下生产出能够有效防护54手枪铅芯弹的质量低于1kg的复合材料头盔。

Abstract:This paper introduces the concept of the production of bullet-proof helmet made of the most of the high specific strength, high specific modulus and high tenacity of high performance polyethylene (HPPE) .Although it has good bullet-proof abilities,the HPPE helmet needs precise molding tools and stringent controls of pressure and temperature to be molded. Successful controlling of the process enables us to make a helmet at a weight of less than 1000 g for the protection of Chinese Pistol 54 Lead Core Bullet without reducing the performance of the product.
