| Abstract: | Two theoretical problems on solid fuel ramjet (SFRJ) are discussed. First, the equation of effective specific impulse is given,and the factors that affect effective specific impulse are analyzed. Based on the thermal calculation, the qualitative relationship of effective specific impulse vs. the content of metal particle.flying height , flying speed and flying Mach number is obtained. Then, analyzing the burning rate and the combustion mechanism of solid fuel,a primary burning rate formula is derived. This investigation is available to the design of SFRJ. |
