| 摘 要： | 介绍了我国独立自主研制的第一代太阳同步轨道气象卫星－FY－1的性能和主要功能，着重介绍了FY－1C星在气象遥感、海洋遥感、空间环境研究、地球环境监测、抗灾救灾和国民经济建设中的应用，以及对国际气象业务的贡献，并展望了我国下一代极轨气象卫星的发展。

| Abstract: | This paper presents principal performance and function of FY 1 meteorological satellite which belongs to the first generation of polar orbiting meteorological satellite developped independently and with the initiative in Chinese own hands, and in particular expounds FY 1C meteorological satellite's application in the realm of meteorological and oceanic remote sensing, spatial environment study, global environment monitoring, disaster mitigation and other application in social and economic interests, as well as contribution to international meteorological operation. Finally, out look for the development of next generation of Chinese polar orbiting meteorological satellite is presented. |
