An Evaluation Report on the Test of Chinese Pilots'RTF Communication English Level

Being entrusted by the Flight Standard Department of CAAC, the author has made a sample test in radiotelephony English among the nation's civil pilots in various places of the country. The paper is a report of the discussion on the test. In this paper the basis of the test is provided and a detailed analysys is made of the credibility, validity and differentiation index of the test in accordance with the principles and approaches of the test theory. Meanwhile, expositon is also made on the contrivution of the result of the test to the improvement of CAAC's pilot RTF communication test bank.
