Eigenspace-based adaptive beamforming algorithm

The conventional adaptive side lobe cancellation algorithm and eigenspace-based technique are discussed.And a new adaptive side lobe cancellation algorithm is also discussed.The algorithm projects the LCMVB weight vector onto the signal subspace,thus the effect of the noise subspace on the weight vector is reduced.Compared with LCMVB,the algorithm has a better cancellation performance.Simulation demonstrates the merits of the algorithm.
