| Abstract: | In this paper,the author analyses the mechanical properties of the kidney shaped cylindrical shell by means of lower order finite strip with two nodal lines(LO2) with the influence of curvature considered.This kind of finite strip has fewer displacement parameters and is suitable to representing the geometrical characteristics of the shell. |
