| Abstract: | This paper attempts to analyze this novel Everyday Use from the perspective of appraisal, particularly attitude system so as to shed light upon the situation of dilemma between American culture and African culture that the African-American women are confronted with and their struggle, choice and puzzlement in the process of affection, judgment and appreciation. It aims to open up a new perspective of interpreting the work. |
