| Abstract: | This paper explicates that the self-sustaining Oblique Detonation Waves are the optimize supersonic combustion modes and indicates some features of standing ODW and some matters needing attention in experimental observation on ground facilities,including that once the self-sustaining ODW forms, the wave angle is out of all relation to the shape of a nose. |
