Reliability Verification Test Methods of Switch Mechanisms for Spacecrafts

Switch mechanisms for spacecrafts are mainly used for transferring mechanical displacements into electric signals,from which astronauts or spaceflight control center can obtain some information about spacecraft state.The characteristics of multiple on/off transformation of the switch mechanism are described.The lifetime is determined as reliability characteristic parameter of this type of switch gear.The reliability verification test methods of the switch gears for spacecrafts are put forward,including selection of test method,determination of test state,test program,failure criterion and reliability assessment method.As an application example,the reliability verification test method of the switch mechanism for manned spacecraft hatches is demonstrated.By the reliability verification test method mentioned above,the reliability of the spacecraft switch mechanisms could be verified.
