The carbon dioxide gage with a single infrared ray (IR) is presented in this paper.Based on Lambert Beer law and using a high quality IR detector,the gage can detect carbon dioxide with high precision and efficiency.The detection of carbon dioxide also involves some key techniques such as current stabilization for the IR source and temperature compensation for the IR detector.The gage possesses the advantages of simple structure,small volume,light weight,low power consumption,and high reliability.Meanwhile,it can be applied into many associated fields.
