| 摘 要： | 由于主成分分析是一种实用的多元统计分析方法，能消除样本指标之间的相关性，在保持样本主要信息的前提下，提取少量具有代表性的主成分。运用主成分分析方法对国内30个省、市、自治区的装备制造业的竞争力进行综合比较，通过对装备制造业209个小行业19项主要经济指标的分析，认为陕西装备制造业具有一定的规模竞争力和综合竞争力，但是比东部的江苏、广东等省份竞争力弱。研究结果还表明，陕西有47个小行业综合竞争力在全国排名10位以内，可以通过大力发展这些优势小行业，从而提升陕西装备制造业的整体竞争力。
