On estimation of total pressure internal losses in the axial-inlet annular diffuser channels

Based on the numerical simulation data, it is shown that the techniques for determining internal losses of total pressure in the axial-inlet annular diffusers with the rectilinear generatrices through the overall losses (assuming that the nonuniformity of the turbulent flow in the radial direction along the channel length is invariable) lead to significant errors.
