基于SNMP的链路层拓扑自动发现算法研究

随着局域网交换技术的发展,链路层拓扑发现变得越来越重要.链路层拓扑指的是一个通讯网内部实体的物理实际链接,即子网内交换机到交换机、交换机到路由器、交换机到主机之间的连接关系.准确自动获取链路层拓扑图是完成许多重要网络管理任务的前提.该文在借鉴已有基于SNMP MIBII链路层拓扑自动发现算法的基础上,最终提出了一种新的基于SNMP的链路层拓扑自动发现算法,减少了算法的运行时间,提高了算法的效率和性能.

Automatic link layer topology discovery algorithm based on SNMP

With the development of the LAN switching technology,the link layer topology discovery became more important.Link Layer Topology referd to the characterization of the physical connectivity relationships that exited among entities in a communication network,which included switch-to-switch,switch-to-router,switch-to-host interconnections in the local area network.Discovering the link layer layout and network interconnections elements is a prerequisite to many critical network management tasks.Based on analysis of LAN Switch features and existing link layer topology discovery algorithm relying on SNMP MIB-II information,this article proposed a new SNMP based on implementing algorithm.The algorithm reduced runtime and improves efficiency and performance.
