Abstract: | Space technology has brought unprecedented benefits to humankind, although more for developed than developing countries. The author addresses the role of space technology for developing countries, and how they can choose and develop national space systems for their maximum benefit. International bodies can help them to learn from other countries' experiences through an exchange of information. |
