Abstract:hypersonic vehicle is facing a strong aerodynamic heating environment. A large amount ofheat accumulates on the skin surface and transfers to the internal structure through the skin , which poses a serious threat to the safety performance of the vehicle. In this paper, starting from the radiationthermal protection scheme , the influence of crystal arrangement , lattice constant, dielectric constant ,radius of dielectric sphere and filling ratio of different configuration of photonic crystal materials onthe radiation characteristics is analyzed. The results show that photonic crystal materials can effectively improve the reflectivity of the target and enhance the radiation thermal protection effect. This workprovides a new design idea for hypersonic surface radiation protection design.
