Abstract:In order to verify the functional performance of the mechanical hydraulic booster flightcontrol system meets the operational requirements , this paper describes the test projects that should becarried out in the process of engineering development and airworthiness approval in detail. Especiallycombined with the development of a key type of civil transport aircraft in China,this paper focuseson the task requirements of the iron-bird test , including the requirements of the test equipments andthe key points for attention by solving the problems encountered in the existing tests. Through thecompleted iron-bird test , the preliminary verification of the flight control system of the model aircrafthas been realized , including normal function performance test, fault simulation test ,preliminary flightquality evaluation , aircrew training before the first flight ,etc. The results show that the planned iron-bird test missions can verify the function and performance of the flight control system ,find the omis.sions in the design process , and achieve the purpose of improving and verifying the system design.
