Abstract:Full automatic carrier landing is the key technique of shipboard aircrafts , which can effectively improve the performance of shipboard aircrafts under complex weather conditions. Reviewingthe development history and research status of foreign full automatic carrier landing technology , theprocess , system composition and evaluation method of automatic carrier landing are introduced. Thecarrier landing process consists of four stages , such as homing, standby , approach and landing ; thesystem consists of shipboard and airborne system: and the evaluation methods include landing rate .landing quality level ,landing point error and glide path error. Finally ,considering the high precisionand reliability of landing requirement , the prospect of a new guidance mode and control algorithm ofautomatic landing is provided.
