Abstract:With the development of aviation system towards to informatization ,networking and sys.tematization , system complexity is increasing , which brings a great challenge to the product develop.ment. As the critical system for various vehicle platforms , the avionics system is facing with a morechangeable battlefield environment and need to accomplish more and more complex tasks. With theacceleration of technology updating, the complexity and comprehensiveness of the system are significantly improved , which leads to the increase of system engineering activities and the intensilication oldifficulties. lt is urgent to develop digital methods to accelerate innovation and improve the qualityand efliciency of system design. According to the needs of avionics development, a collaborativeMBSE method is illustrated and applied to the preliminary design of an avionics system. Disadvan.tage in complexity management and incremental development/agile iteration of traditional Harmony SE method have been solved in the new method. Effectivity and coordination of the collaborativemethod have been verified by an Integrated Program Team in an avionics system project. Based onthe exploration and practice , the future focus of MBSE in avionics system development suggests inthis paper.
