| Abstract: | In this paper,the basic principles and the frameworks of the Public Key Infrastructure(PKI) system and the smart card system are introduced.The application modes and methods of smart card in the PKI system are summarized.And the effect of applying smart card to enhance the security of the PKI system is also analysed. |
