摘    要:针对遥感图像压缩,在分析基于变换的压缩方法(如小波变换)可用性的基础上,提出一种称为RBC(Resampling Based Compression,即基于空间重采样压缩)的新压缩方法,RBC方法的主要特点是恢复图像的高保真和压缩算法的低运算复杂度,因此十分适合高速,实时压缩应用,给出了RBC方法与SPIHT(Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees)方法的压缩结果的比较,。比较结果表明RBC方法比其他熟知的方法更适合于遥感图像压缩应用。

Abstract:Based on an analysis on the applicability of the transform based(such as wavelet transform) compression method to remote sensing images,a new compression method named resampling based compression(RBC) method was proposed. The RBC is characterized with high fidelity of the restored image and low computation complexity of the compression algorithm, and so it is quite suitable for high speed real time compression usage. The compression results of the method in comparing with set partitioning in hierarchical trees(SPIHT) were also given.The results indicated that the RBC is more suitable for remote sensing images than other well known compression methods.
