Nanocrystals were prepared by polyethylene glycol method. The structure and morphology of
La2O3 nanocrystals were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction
(XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and BET specific surface area absorption
meter.La2O3 nanocrystals with different size of particles and
different type of morphology were produced at different heat-treatment temperatures. Mixed
La2O3 nanocrystals of monocline and hexagonal were obtained at 600℃
and completely transformed to the hexagonal phase when the heat-treatment temperature
raised above 850℃. The Raman spectra of the La2O3 nanocrystals are
also analyzed in this paper.
