Abstract:This paper surveys and analyzes development of modern spacecraft and its challenges to the control theory. These challenges include following: (1) Dynamics ane control of space f lexible structures; (2) Robust and adaptive control; (3) Design method and theory of high accuracy-multivariable control systems; (4) Design of fault-tolerant control systems and intelligent control; (5) Control theory of large-scale systems.
