The aging population has brought many difficulties to national governance and social development,and promoting the development of healthy aging has become a strategic measure.Sports policy for the elderly is a powerful means with economy and sustainability,and it is also an essential element of national health,which fully demonstrates the Party and the state’s high concern for the elderly.From the perspective of policy network,it is found that the goal of sports policy for the elderly in China presents a paradigm shift from“marginalization”to“centralization”.Since the new era,the gradual diffusion of the concept of deliberative democracy makes the elderly sports policy face many challenges.Only with constant attention,can the strategic value of sports policy for the elderly be further highlighted and enhanced.Therefore,only by following the principles of overall planning and coordination,balanced development and freedom of expression,can the development of sports policies for the elderly meet the requirements of the times.
