| Abstract: | The capacity of our present air transport system is approaching societies tolerance levels especially as concerns environmental challenges. The approach needed has to include an optimisation of technology in a combined top-down/bottom-up process, an efficient utilization of resources through a more function-oriented business structure integrating life-cycle perspectives and finally creating challenging, stimulating education and working conditions throughout the whole system, making it possible to attract the most talented people -- simply the best! |
