| Abstract: | The airports system, as a whole, forms a continuum with the airspace. So, the airports must be considered as an integral part of the Air Traffic Management System, and due to the current air traffic growth, their evolution requires special attention. This is the reason why the European Commission is conducting an airport related research programme. |
