Abstract:Ti2Al-based intermetallic compounds are becoming one of the most important aerospace materials because of their strong potential for high-temperature applications. In this paper, recent developments in deformation behavior of Ti3Al-based alloys are reviewed in detail, including the dislocation characteristic of DO19 structural ordered alloys, theoretical models of P-N force of slip system and the advancemnt in deformation behavior of the alloys.
