| Abstract: | This paper describes the Pointing, Acquisition and Tracking (PAT) systems for both microwave and optical links for high data rate transmission between Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite and Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) relay satellite. It points out the advantages, drawbacks and critical technologies of each tracking and acquisition systems. |
