| Abstract: | Admiral Stansfield Turner has recently written a book, “Secrecy and Democracy — the CIA in Transition”. In it he proposes a dramatic new plan for using our intelligence systems, such as satellites, to help preserve peace and to improve the standard of living of all mankind. This article consists of excerpts from the book which describe this concept. |
